Jorge Mateo - Logs steal off benchMateo stole a base as a pinch runner in Sunday's 3-2 extra-innings loss to Atlanta.
ImpactMateo ran for Anthony Santander in the 10th inning and stole second, but he was left on base. Off days have been rare for Mateo this season, and it's for good reason -- he's slashing .304/.353/.565 through 29 contests. He's added 12 steals on 14 tries, six home runs, 19 RBI and 24 runs scored through 105 plate appearances.

Félix Bautista - Blows save in 10th inningBautista allowed an unearned run on one walk and struck out one in one inning, taking a blown save in Sunday's 3-2 extra-innings loss to Atlanta.
ImpactBautista couldn't protect a one-run lead in the 10th inning, giving up a run on a wild pitch. He's allowed a run in consecutive appearances for the first time since his first two outings of the year. Sunday's mishap won't show up in his ERA, which stands at 1.72 despite a 1.28 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB through 15.2 innings this season. He's now 7-for-10 in save chances.

Cionel Pérez - Takes loss SundayPerez (1-1) allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk while recording one strikeout in one-third of an inning to take the extra-innings loss versus Atlanta on Sunday.
ImpactPerez intentionally walked Marcell Ozuna with one out in the 12th inning, but Michael Harris knocked a walkoff double to win the game. It's been tough for Perez to find consistency this season -- he's yet to go more than three appearances without surrendering a run. He remains in a setup role for the Orioles, but he has a 4.61 ERA, 2.27 WHIP and 12:9 K:BB through 13.2 innings. He's added six holds, and he could be in danger of losing his current role once Mychal Givens (knee) and Dillon Tate (forearm) are ready to return.

Bryce Elder - No decision SundayElder did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and four walks over 5.1 innings against Baltimore. He struck out four.
ImpactIt wasn't Elder's sharpest outing of the season, allowing four hits and four walks over 5.1 innings, but he was able to navigate through traffic, holding the Orioles to just one run. The 24-year-old Elder has now allowed just one run over his last two starts (12.1 innings). He's 3-0 this season with an excellent 1.74 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 36:13 K:BB through seven starts. While he's due for some regression, Edler's been able to limit damage throughout the year thanks to a 57.6 percent ground ball rate.

Tyler Wells - Solid in no decisionWells did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing a run on three hits and a walk over five innings against Atlanta. He struck out four.
ImpactWells pitched well against a powerful Atlanta lineup, allowing just a first-inning home run to Matt Olson in an eventual 3-2 extra-innings loss. It was an encouraging performance for Wells after he allowed four runs on three homers in his last outing against the Royals. The 28-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 3.15 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 31:7 K:BB through his first 40 innings this season.
