Brayan Bello - Completes bullpen sessionBello (forearm) threw a bullpen session Sunday with no apparent issues, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
ImpactBello was briefly shut down from throwing after he experienced some soreness in his forearm during mid-February, but he's now back on the mound after playing catch over the past week. The Red Sox are likely to remain cautious with the 23-year-old righty this early in camp, but at this point it appears he's avoided any serious issues and should continue ramping up his throwing program.

Dylan Dodd - Shines in spring debutDodd struck out three batters over two perfect innings in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.
ImpactThe 24-year-old southpaw isn't yet a big name in prospect circles after being a third-round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft, but Dodd could gain a lot of helium if he keeps pitching like this. He made one start for Triple-A Gwinnett at the end of last season and figures to begin 2023 there, and if the velocity gains he showed last year stick, his potentially plus changeup and strong control could mark him as something more than just a long reliever or swingman in the majors.

Darius Vines - Opens eyes in spring debutVines gave up one hit and struck out three in a scoreless inning during Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.
ImpactIt's generally foolhardy to draw too many conclusions from the sixth inning of a late February spring training game, but Vines certainly looked the part of a top pitching prospect Saturday as he leaned on his plus changeup to whiff three of the four batters he faced. The 24-year-old right-hander posted solid numbers in Double-A and Triple-A last season and appears poised to make his big-league debut at some point in 2023.

Matt Olson - Big start to springOlson went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.
ImpactHe smashed a Kaleb Ort pitch off the top of the wall in right-center field in the third inning, but perhaps more encouraging for his 2023 fantasy value was his first at-bat, in which he snuck a grounder through the right side of the infield that almost certainly would have resulted in an out under the old shift rules. Olson had a .338 wOBA last season against the shift versus a .370 mark when he wasn't hitting into one, offering hope he could see his .240 batting average from 2022 rise somewhat significantly.
