Bobby Dalbec - Summoned from Triple-AThe Red Sox recalled Dalbec from Triple-A Worcester on Monday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

ImpactHe's taking the roster spot vacated by Adam Duvall (wrist). Dalbec has started games at first base, third base and shortstop this season at Worcester and could see playing time in the infield if the Red Sox want to use Enrique Hernandez in center field while Duvall is out. He probably won't play enough or hit well enough to be worthy of a fantasy roster spot, though.

ImpactThough his absence from the starting nine comes as no surprise with the Rays starting a lefty opener (Jalen Beeks) and having another southpaw (Josh Fleming) follow him as a primary pitcher, the lefty-hitting Tapia could have a path to primary duties in center field in the short term after Adam Duvall (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday. The righty-hitting Rob Refsnyder will man center field Monday and should at least continue to fill the short side of a platoon at the position.

ImpactWhile the Red Sox still haven't provided an updated diagnosis on Duvall after he exited Sunday's win over the Tigers with an apparent left wrist injury, the 34-year-old slugger didn't join the team in Tampa Bay and will be on the shelf for at least the next week and a half. According to Cotillo, Duvall is still undergoing further testing on his wrist back in Boston, so an updated timeline for the outfielder's return to the lineup may not arrive until later Monday or Tuesday. Rob Refsnyder and Raimel Tapia will likely share time in center field while Duvall is on the mend, with Tapia presumably being the preferred option of the two due to his left-handedness.

As Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican notes, Bobby Dalbec joined the Red Sox's taxi squad and could be formally called up from Triple-A Worcester ahead of Monday's game, perhaps hinting that Duvall could be a candidate to go on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Given that Duvall is already out of the lineup Monday and is uncertain to play in any of Boston's remaining six games this week, fantasy managers in weekly leagues are probably best off stashing him on their bench if no resolution on his status arrives prior to the 6:40 p.m. ET first pitch.

Josh Winckowski - Records holdWinckowski struck out one in a scoreless relief inning and recorded his first hold in Sunday's 4-1 win over Detroit.

ImpactWinckowski had his first clean outing in four appearances, although he's limited the damage to one run on four hits and one walk in seven innings. The 24-year-old right-handed starter, who was stretched out in spring training, was needed out of the bullpen and pitched well in that role. The Red Sox are expected to activate Garrett Whitlock (hip) to start Tuesday, which will cost someone on the staff a roster spot. That could mean Winckowski goes back to Triple-A Worcester where he could serve as starting depth.
