Impact Free passes came back to haunt Keller in the third and sixth innings. Even after this step backward, Keller still has a 3.20 ERA and 1.03 WHIP this season, an improvement driven in large part by a reduction in walk rate to this point. Keller lacks swing-and-miss dominance and the team context is a negative, but he keeps the ball on the ground and is firmly in the streaming territory for fantasy baseball.

Impact Keller gave up a run in the third on Andrew Vaughn's sacrifice fly but most of the damage against him came from Yasmani Grandal's two-run shot in the fourth. The 26-year-old was saved from taking the loss when the Royals tied the game during the eighth. Keller has given up nine runs (eight earned) over his last two outings but he still owns a 2.89 ERA through 43.2 innings. He's lined up to face the Twins at home this weekend.

Impact After retiring the first two batters on groundouts, Keller gave up a solo homer to Corey Seager and three consecutive singles in the three-run first. Seager tagged him for another solo shot in the third and the Rangers manufactured runs in the fourth and sixth. It was arguably his least effective start of the season with the two home runs doubling his season total. Despite the poor showing, the 25-year-old has an excellent 2.70 ERA and 0.98 WHIP through six starts. His next start will likely be early next week against the White Sox.
