He's now 4-for-11 over three contests in August, though he hasn't posted an extra-base hit since July 20. Donovan has seen most of his playing time in left field this year, but he's also starting to get more run at second base with outfielder Tommy Pham hitting the ground running in his return to St. Louis while Nolan Gorman is in the midst of a slump. Impact Donovan was held hitless in the matinee, the fourth time in 15 games in July that's happened. He bounced back in the nightcap, hitting a solo shot in the fifth inning and adding a two-run single in the ninth.
