Impact Sadler had been sidelined since early May due to right shoulder inflammation, but his activation was expected after he made four rehab appearances recently. The right-hander struck out six in 3.2 perfect innings during his rehab stint, and he should be available out of the Mariners' bullpen going forward. Right-hander Rafael Montero was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Impact Sadler has been sidelined since early May, so he's eligible to return at any point. He's completed at least a few rehab outings, most recently with Triple-A Tacoma. Prior to being sidelined, Sadler managed a 1.64 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 10 strikeouts and six walks across 11 innings of work out of the Mariners' bullpen.

Impact Sadler was exceedingly sharp during his return to the mound after a two-month-plus absence, needing only eight pitches (seven strikes) to get through his one frame. The right-hander is likely in for a relatively robust rehab assignment with multiple affiliates, given the extent of his absence.
