Traded to Atlanta Atlanta acquired Biggio in a minor-league trade with the Giants on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Impact The trade marks the fourth team Biggio will play with this season, having previously spent time with the Blue Jays, Dodgers and Giants. Biggio signed a minor-league contract with San Francisco on Aug. 23, and he's slashed .163/.413/.326 with two home runs and six RBI across 63 plate appearances with Triple-A Sacramento. Biggio could see some time in the majors with Atlanta, but he would not be eligible to play in the postseason, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
