Outrighted to Triple-A Sobotka was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.

Impact Sobotka had been pitching for the Triple-A club recently, but his removal from the 40-man roster will make room for Ryan Weber, who was claimed off waivers in a corresponding move. The right-hander has made five relief appearances for Triple-A Nashville this year and has posted a 4.91 ERA and 2.81 WHIP in 3.2 innings.

Debuts for new organization Sobotka (illness) has appeared in two games for Triple-A Nashville so far in June, working scoreless innings Thursday and Sunday.

Impact The Brewers acquired Sobotka from Atlanta back on April 6, but he didn't make his organizational debut until nearly two months later after he battled a sinus infection prior to the start of the minor-league season in early May. Now healthy, Sobotka will likely need to impress out of the Nashville bullpen over a handful of outings before Milwaukee considers calling him up.

Sent to Milwaukee Sobotka was traded from Atlanta to Milwaukee along with Patrick Weigel on Tuesday, with Orlando Arcia going the other way.

Impact Sobotka posted a 1.88 ERA in his 14.1-inning debut in 2018, but he's struggled significantly since then. Over the last two seasons, he owns a 6.89 ERA, with his 26.0 percent strikeout rate not coming close to canceling out his 13.6 percent walk rate. He spent most of last year at Atlanta's alternate training site and will head to Milwaukee's following the move.
