Impact The 20-year-old Jaworsky made his spring debut last Friday against the Mets, recording a sacrifice fly in his lone plate appearance in addition to seeing some time at second base. He isn't a serious threat to make the Astros' Opening Day roster, but his involvement in big-league camp is an indication that he's healthy again after he finished the 2024 season on Single-A Fayetteville's 60-day injured list due to an unspecified issue.

Ends season on IL Single-A Fayetteville placed Jaworsky on its 7-day injured list Aug. 1 with an unspecified injury and later transferred him to the 60-day IL.
Impact Jaworsky last played July 31 before succumbing to the injury, which ultimately proved to be season-ending. Prior to getting hurt, the 20-year-old shortstop logged 329 plate appearances in the Carolina League, slashing .233/.337.346 with four home runs and 30 stolen bases.
