Elieser Hernandez - Yields one run in no-decisionHernandez allowed a run on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings in Sunday's win over the Cubs. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.
ImpactIt was Hernandez's third MLB appearance this season and first since June 3 after his second stint on the 60-day injured list. He showed no signs of rust, cruising through five shutout innings to begin the game. The only blemish on his outing was a solo shot off the bat of Frank Schwindel in the sixth. It's been a small sample size, but Hernandez has impressed this season with a 2.84 ERA and a 13:1 K:BB over 12.2 frames. He's projected to take the mound in Cincinnati next week.

Dylan Floro - Escapes with fifth saveFloro allowed a walk and a hit in a scoreless ninth inning Sunday, striking out two and picking up a save over the Cubs.
ImpactFloro gave up a single and a walk to start the ninth but retired the final three batters, including two punchouts, to escape the jam and finish off the win. He's now 5-for-9 in save chances (3-for-4 in August) with a 3.02 ERA through 47.2 innings this season. The 30-year-old righty has given up four runs on six hits and a pair of walks over his last five appearances.

Jesús Aguilar - Homers in victoryAguilar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Cubs.
ImpactAguilar poked two singles in Sunday's win before topping off his day with a two-run shot in the seventh inning to extend Miami's lead. The 31-year-old slugger is up to 22 homers with an .826 OPS through 440 plate appearances on the year. Since the start of August, he's gone 12-for-42 (.286) with four long balls and nine RBI.

Alec Mills - Saddled with fifth lossMills (5-5) allowed two runs across 5.2 innings to take the loss Sunday against the Marlins. He gave up seven hits and a walk while striking out four.
ImpactMills pitched reasonably well but didn't get enough run support in the 4-1 loss. The righty has alternated between the bullpen and rotation for the Cubs, as this was his 12th start among 24 appearances to date. With Jake Arrieta now out of the picture and Adbert Alzolay (hamstring) on the injured list, Mills should keep picking up starts for now. He's currently projected to take the mound again Saturday against the Royals.

Frank Schwindel - Goes deep in Sunday's lossSchwindel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Marlins.
ImpactSchwindel's fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning provided the only offense for the Cubs. The 29-year-old came into the year with only six games of experience at the MLB level, though he's settled into a regular role with Chicago now that Anthony Rizzo is gone. The five long balls in 22 games shows what Schwindel is capable of from a power standpoint, so fantasy managers in deeper leagues may want to take a flier.
