Willy Adames - Officially reinstated MondayAdames (quadriceps) was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday.
ImpactThe 26-year-old participated in pregame workouts over the weekend, which proved to be the final hurdle before being cleared to return from the injured list. Adames should reclaim the starting role at shortstop after missing the past two-plus weeks, but he could also receive more regular off days over the final two weeks of the season to help manage his return since the Milwaukee's playoff seeding is relatively secure.

Brad Boxberger - Takes loss in woeful outingBoxberger (5-4) took the loss in relief Sunday against the Cubs after allowing three runs on two hits and a walk. He didn't record a single out.
ImpactBoxberger couldn't retire a single batter Sunday and delivered one of his worst outings of the campaign, though it's worth noting he's now given up runs in three of his last six appearances. He owns a ballooned 17.36 ERA in just 4.2 innings through seven outings in September.

Eric Lauer - Strong outing in no-decisionLauer didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Cubs after allowing one run on 5.1 innings, giving up one hit and three walks while fanning six.
ImpactLauer has been pitching at a high level of late, allowing one or fewer runs in each of his previous four starts while also posting two quality starts in that stretch. He has gone 2-0 with a blistering 1.09 ERA in September and seems to be gearing up for a strong end of the regular season.
