Dillon Peters - Shifts to 60-day ILPeters (back) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Thursday, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
ImpactPeters was already ruled out for the season after landing on the 10-day IL late last week, and the move to the 60-day IL is just a procedural move to free up a spot on the 40-man roster. The 29-year-old recently resumed throwing and should have plenty of time to build back to full strength for spring training.

ImpactHoerner hasn't been placed on the 10-day injured list, but he confirmed Thursday that he's shifting his focus toward returning to full health for the offseason. The 24-year-old appeared in 44 major-league games during the 2021 campaign and hit .302 with 16 RBI, 13 runs and five stolen bases. Sergio Alcantara should continue to serve as the primary shortstop to close out the regular season.
