Edgar Quero - Nursing back injury Quero has been on the 7-day injured list since Aug. 17 due to a back injury, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.
Impact The club has yet to reveal a timetable for Quero's return, and Paul Janish, Director of Player Development, stated Monday that the backstop will likely remain out a bit longer, per Fegan. "At this juncture of the season, we just need to make sure that he's completely healthy," said Janish. Quero was likely being considered for a September promotion prior to suffering his injury, and his place on the IL could keep him from making his big-league debut if he's not activated in the near future.

Ky Bush - Moved back to minors The White Sox optioned Bush to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
Impact Bush managed one nice start against the Astros, but his other three outings during his first stint in the big leagues were woeful, as the lefty ultimately collected a 5.60 ERA and 11:16 K:BB over 17.2 frames across the four starts. The left-hander will work on ironing out his issues at Charlotte and the White Sox will now need a starter for three week's series against the Rangers to take Bush's spot.

Bryan Ramos - Rejoins big club The White Sox recalled Ramos from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
Impact Chicago has been leaning on a combination of Lenyn Sosa (.403 OPS in August) and Miguel Vargas (.420 OPS in August) at third base in recent weeks, but neither player has performed well enough to seize control of an everyday role. Ramos could contend for reps at the hot corner while he's up with Chicago, though he endured similar struggles at the plate during his first taste of the majors back in May. He slashed .196/.208/.239 with a 2.1 percent walk rate and a 16.7 percent strikeout rate in 48 plate appearances for the White Sox before he was optioned to Charlotte on May 30.
