Luis Robert - Returning to action MondayManager Tony La Russa said Robert (hip) will join the White Sox on Monday in Minnesota and will be activated from the 60-day injured list ahead of the series opener, James Fegan of...ImpactRobert has been on a rehab assignment for nearly three weeks while working his way back from a right hip flexor, and the White Sox believe he's now ready for an everyday role at the big-league level. According to Scott Merkin of MLB.com, Robert will be included in the starting nine Monday, presumably manning center field. With the 24-year-old back in action, the White Sox may have fewer opportunities available in the outfield for the likes of Brian Goodwin, Gavin Sheets, Leury Garcia and Adam Engel. All of Robert, Eloy Jimenez and Andrew Vaughn appear locked in for full-time roles between the three outfield spots and the designated-hitter spot, leaving just opening in the lineup up for grabs more often than not.
