Jakson Reetz - Back in majorsThe Giants recalled Reetz from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
ImpactPatrick Bailey (oblique) landed on the injured list Tuesday, so the Giants will now call upon Reetz to give the team some depth behind the plate while Curt Casali acts as the primary starter. Reetz has appeared in six games for San Francisco this season, going 2-for-14 with a home run and five strikeouts.

Patrick Bailey - Lands on injured listThe Giants placed Bailey on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right oblique strain, retroactive to Aug. 19.
ImpactAfter initially labeling Bailey's side injury as minor tightness, an MRI revealed Tuesday that the 25-year-old catcher suffered a strained oblique. Curt Casali will now take over as the Giants' primary catcher while Bailey is out, and Jackson Reetz will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to give the team some depth behind the plate.

Patrick Bailey - Sitting again TuesdayBailey (side) isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ImpactBailey was a late scratch from Monday's lineup due to right side tightness. The Giants believe his injury is relatively minor, but they'll give him another day to recover while Curt Casali starts behind the plate and bats ninth.
