Impact Devenski entered with one out and a pair of runners on base in the eighth inning. An error by Andrew Velazquez allowed the Rockies to load the bases, and Devenski then served up a grand slam to Elias Diaz to flip the score in Colorado's favor. The righty reliever has been dominant for much of the season -- through June 15, he had notched a 1.85 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and nine holds over 19 contests. However, he's been scored upon in each of his past three games, allowing six runs (five earned) over 2.2 frames and picking up two losses along with two blown saves.

Impact Devenski began by allowing a leadoff double to Yanier Diaz in the seventh, but went on to retire the next five batters he faced and ended his outing with a strikeout of Yordan Alvarez. The 32-year-old has six straight scoreless outings dating back to May 21. Over that span, Devenski has picked up two holds and two wins and has an 8:0 K:BB in seven innings over that span.

Inks deal with Angels Devenski signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Monday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Impact Devenski will receive another chance to get back on track after struggling to see consistent big-league action during his last three seasons. He's allowed 27 earned runs to go along with a 22:6 K:BB across 25.2 frames over his last three years in the big leagues, spending time in Houston, Arizona and Philadelphia. Per Jon Morosi of MLB Network, Devenski is set to compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster during spring training.
