Facing live pitching again Taylor (groin) took batting practice Saturday and is expected to report to the Dodgers' spring training facility in Arizona this week to get in more live at-bats before heading out... Impact Of the four Dodgers hitters currently on the injured list, Taylor looks to be the furthest away from returning. Mookie Betts (hand) is on track to be activated Monday, and Max Muncy (oblique) and Tommy Edman (wrist) are in the midst of rehab assignments and could be activated as soon as Aug. 19. Taylor shouldn't be too far behind Muncy and Edman if he begins a rehab assignment by next weekend, but playing time could be hard to come by for the 33-year-old utility man once he eventually makes his way back to the big club. Taylor had started at second base, third base or in left field in nine of the Dodgers' last 11 games before he landed on the injured list July 25 with a left groin strain, but Gavin Lux, Muncy and Teoscar Hernandez should all be locked in as starters at those respective positions by the time Taylor is activated.
