Homers Friday Yelich went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a triple, a walk and two runs scored in Friday's 5-1 win over the Mets. Impact Yelich went back-to-back with Willy Adames in the third to give the Brewers a 4-1 lead, as he ended an 0-for-12 drought with the home run. The 2018 National League MVP also roped a triple to left, which was his second three-bagger of the season. It's unclear if Yelich is still feeling some of the effects of COVID or the back injury he was dealing with earlier this season, but his numbers at the plate are down this year. He's slashing .245/.358/.377 with nine homers, 49 RBI, 67 runs, eight steals scored and 65:111 BB:K over 450 plate appearances.
