Impact Zach Plesac had been on tap for the Guardians and Braxton Garrett was set to take the mound for the visiting Marlins. The game will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader Saturday (April 22) beginning at 3:10 p.m. ET, and Plesac and Garrett should both stay on turn in either the early game or later tilt.

Impact After spending three days away from the team, the 27-year-old reliever is now back with the Guardians. De Los Santos holds a 1.35 ERA and 1.20 WHIP on the year across 6.2 innings, though he's made one appearance since April 9.

Daniel Espino - On track for June/July return Espino (shoulder) is on track to join Double-A Akron's rotation by June or July, manager Rouglas Odor told Brad Bournival of the Akron Beacon Journal on Thursday.
Impact Espino is on the 60-day injured list with a subscapularis strain and anterior capsule tear in his right shoulder, although Odor indicated the move was precautionary. "If everything goes well, he'll probably be back here in June or July," Odor said. "When we broke camp, he was already throwing and playing catch, which was a huge sign. I was happy to hear that." Espino has some of the best stuff of any pitching prospect in baseball but has had a terrible time staying healthy, having not made a start since April of 2022.

Impact Gimenez has logged three steals over his last six games despite going 4-for-20 (.200) with two walks and a hit-by-pitch in that span. The second baseman hasn't show hesitation on the basepths with six thefts through 19 contests, and he's yet to be caught stealing this season. He's also slashing a solid .278/.350/.389 with a home run, five RBI, 18 runs scored and five doubles over 81 plate appearances. The one knock on Gimenez from a fantasy perspective is that he has often been batting in the bottom half of the order, though he hit second Wednesday with Amed Rosario (back) out.
