ImpactKwan was on the front end of a double steal with Jose Ramirez in the fifth inning. This was Kwan's third steal in September and his 19th of the season, matching his total as a rookie from last season. The outfielder is hitting .289 (11-for-38) in September, a modest improvement on his .272 mark for the year. He's added five home runs, 49 RBI, 84 runs scored, 32 doubles and six triples through 141 contests.

ImpactCalhoun went yard in the second inning, but it was the only run the Guardians could manufacture against one of his former teams. The 35-year-old was solid after joining Cleveland in August, but he's gone just 5-for-31 (.161) over nine games in September. The slump has yet to cost him playing time, but the recent returns of David Fry and Josh Naylor could eventually lead to Calhoun slipping out of a near-everyday role. Calhoun is slashing .241/.325/.398 with four homers, 17 RBI, 14 runs scored and five doubles through 29 contests.

Tanner Bibee - Strong start goes to wasteBibee (10-4) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out eight without walking a batter over seven innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Angels.
ImpactBibee was sharp, though he also committed two balks. The runs against him came on a sacrifice fly and a groundout. Bibee has gone at least five innings and allowed no more than three runs in any of his last 15 starts, and this was just his second loss in that impressive span. The rookie is at a 3.03 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 137:45 K:BB through 136.2 innings over 24 starts this season. Bibee's projected for a home start versus the Rangers in his next outing.
