Elvis Peguero - Optioned to Triple-AThe Brewers optioned Peguero to Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

ImpactPeguero had posted a 1.38 ERA and 13:6 K:BB over his last 13 innings covering 15 appearances but nonetheless finds himself back in the minors. The Brewers have not yet announced a corresponding move, but Trevor Megill (back) returning from the injured list appears highly probable.

Chase DeLauter - Moving up to Triple-ADeLauter will be promoted from Double-A Akron to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday.

ImpactDeLauter returned to action for Akron in late July after missing nearly two months of action with a foot injury. He had homered in each of his last three games and in four of his past seven contests with Akron. DeLauter has slashed .318/.385/.502 in two minor-league seasons but has been plagued by nagging foot problems.

Sam Hentges - Moved to 60-day ILThe Guardians transferred Hentges (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Monday.

ImpactHentges has been on the shelf since July 12 due to left shoulder swelling and was removed from his rehab assignment Aug. 9 with soreness in the shoulder. The change means Hentges won't be eligible to return until Sept. 10, though it's unclear if he would have been ready by then, anyway. Anthony Gose will take Hentges' spot on the 40-man roster.

ImpactCleveland DFA'd Gose on Aug. 9, but he stuck around in the organization after clearing waivers. Just 10 days later, he'll return to the Guardians' active roster, taking Alex Cobb's (fingernail) spot as Cobb hits the IL. Gose allowed two runs across 1.1 innings in his lone MLB appearance this season but has a 3.46 ERA with a 55:25 K:BB across 39 innings out of the bullpen for Columbus.
