Hunter Gaddis - Guardians-Tigers postponedGaddis won't start against the Tigers on Monday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather in Detroit, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

ImpactThe Guardians and Tigers are set to make up the postponed game as part of a split doubleheader Tuesday. Gaddis will presumably start one of the two games for Cleveland, while Peyton Battenfield takes the hill for the other contest.

Mason Thompson - Collects win SundayThompson (1-1) gave up one hit in a scoreless eighth inning Sunday to record the win against the Guardians. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

ImpactThe right-hander entered the game with the Nationals down 6-5, and after needing only 13 pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side, Thompson was rewarded with his first win when Washington plated two in the bottom of the frame. Thompson has been one of the better arms in the team's bullpen to begin the season, posting a 1.59 ERA and 8:1 K:BB through 11.1 innings, and he appears to be working his way into a high-leverage role.

Stone Garrett - Two more hits SundayGarrett went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

ImpactThe 27-year-old has been used sparingly since being called up at the beginning of April, but Garrett has produced when given the chance, collecting at least one hit in all four of his starts and batting .563 (9-for-16) with three doubles and a homer. Alex Call, his main competition for playing time in left field right now, has a paltry .614 OPS on the season, so Garrett's opportunities should be on the rise.
