Out with oblique strain Poche suffered a strained right oblique during Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox and will miss the rest of the season, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Impact Poche retired only one of the five batters he faced and allowed four runs before he exited Tuesday's contest, and he'll now miss the rest of the year with the oblique injury. The left-hander had seven saves and 23 holds with a 3.99 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 64:22 K:BB over 58.2 innings during 2022.

Picks up seventh save Poche yielded a hit and one walk in a scoreless ninth inning Friday, striking out one and earning a save over the Tigers.

Impact Poche had two runners on base with two outs but he managed to strike out Riley Greene to preserve the 5-3 win. The 6-foot-3 southpaw picked up his first save since July 13 after blowing his previous two opportunities. He's now sporting a 3.00 ERA and a 35:14 K:BB through 39 appearances.

Impact Poche entered the game with a one-run lead but surrendered a two-run home run to the second batter he faced to blow the lead. He subsequently allowed a walk and a double prior to being pulled. Poche has served up four long balls across his last 12 appearances, resulting in a 6.75 ERA in that span. He's still likely to remain in the mix for saves in Tampa Bay, but Brooks Raley and Jason Adam have also recently entered games in save situations.

Impact Poche inherited a three-run ninth-inning lead and worked around a one-out single to collect his first save since June 22. The southpaw leads the team with six saves on the campaign, but four other Rays relievers have notched at least three thus far. As such, Poche isn't the most reliable source of saves in fantasy, though he's more valuable in leagues that count holds -- he has 10 on the campaign and has posted a 1.88 ERA and 0.98 WHIP over 28.2 innings.
