Impact The Rockies had already pushed back Quantrill's start from Saturday to Monday, but it's now unknown when he'll make his next start. Quantrill's forearm soreness stems from his previous start, when he allowed three runs across 4.1 innings against the Padres. The left-hander should be expected to undergo further testing in the coming days, but for now, it doesn't seem Quantrill will need an IL stint.

Impact It looked like the rookie right-hander was in for a long night after allowing a titanic 448-foot solo homer to Marcell Ozuna in the first inning. However, Gordon settled in nicely, collecting a career-high seven punchouts in this 89-pitch performance. Overall, the 26-year-old has pitched to a 6.15 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB across 26.1 innings this season. He lines up to make his next start against the Diamondbacks on the road next week.

Returns clean MRI An MRI on Feltner's throwing shoulder came back clean Friday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
Impact The right-hander was placed on the IL on Thursday with a strained right shoulder and Friday's MRI confirmed there is no structural damage. There's optimism that Feltner could return after the minimum 15 days, meaning the 27-year-old could rejoin the rotation as soon as Aug. 23. In the meantime, Dakota Hudson and Tanner Gordon will hold down the back end of the Rockies' rotation.
