Kris Bryant - Keeps mashing SaturdayBryant went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
ImpactBryant continues to tap into his power in July, as he's gone yard four times in his last five games. That stretch accounts for all of his homers this season. He's gone 12-for-32 (.375) this month to raise his season slash line to .299/.358/.477 with 10 RBI and 21 runs scored through 28 contests overall.

Kyle Freeland - Fades late againFreeland (4-7) took the loss Saturday versus the Diamondbacks. He allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 6.1 innings.
ImpactFreeland got off to a rocky start, allowing three runs in the first inning. He settled in well after that, allowing just one baserunner in the next four innings, but Jordan Luplow tagged him for a solo shot in the sixth and Freeland allowed two more batters aboard in the seventh before his exit. This was only the second time he's allowed a half-dozen or more runs in a start, but he's rarely been dominant as evidenced by his 4.70 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 66:29 K:BB through 97.2 innings in 17 starts. He's tentatively projected for a tough home start versus the Padres next week.

Jordan Luplow - Clubs 11th homerLuplow went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Rockies.
ImpactLuplow delivered an RBI single to put Arizona ahead in the first inning and a solo shot to pad the lead in the sixth. The long ball was his first homer since his inside-the-park trot June 21. The 28-year-old outfielder is still primarily limited to a short-side platoon role -- he last started against a right June 22, which was as a late addition to the lineup. Luplow has made the most of his limited role with 11 homers, 23 RBI, 22 runs scored and four stolen bases, but he's slashing only .178/.268/.452 through 153 plate appearances.

Josh Rojas - Plates three in winRojas went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Rockies.
ImpactBoth of Rojas' doubles accounted for his three RBI as he helped the Diamondbacks strengthen their lead in the seventh and eighth innings. The 28-year-old has already racked up five multi-hit efforts in nine games in July, matching his number of such performances from 24 contests in June. The infielder's success at the plate has lifted his batting average 36 points from .248 at the end of June to .284 after Saturday's contest. He's added a .787 OPS, five home runs, 26 RBI, 34 runs scored, seven stolen bases and 13 doubles through 221 plate appearances this year.
JULY 10, 2022ROTOWIRE
Madison Bumgarner - Allows two runs in winBumgarner (5-8) allowed two runs on six hits and struck out five without walking a batter in seven innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rockies.
ImpactBumgarner didn't have more than one win in any of the first three months of the campaign, but his victory Saturday was his second in as many starts in July. This was just the second time he's completed seven frames this year. A Kris Bryant solo home run in the first inning and a Charlie Blackmon RBI single in the third accounted for the damage. Bumgarner dropped his ERA to 3.65 with a 1.35 WHIP and 66:29 K:BB through 91.1 innings overall. The southpaw is projected to make his last start of the first half next week in San Diego.
