Monday's TransactionsBASEBALL Major League Baseball National League COLORADO ROCKIES — Reassigned RHP T.J.

T.J. Zeuch - Sent to minor-league campThe Rockies reassigned Zeuch to minor-league camp Monday.
ImpactAfter signing a minor-league deal with the Rockies in December, Zeuch was able to appear in four games this spring as a non-roster invitee. The 27-year-old surrendered seven earned runs and gave up three homers over eight innings pitched, making the decision to send him down a little easier for Colorado. Zeuch will likely start the season with Triple-A Albuquerque and look to earn a call-up as the season ramps up.

Ryne Nelson - Pitches multiple relief inningsNelson allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out two over 2.2 relief innings in Sunday's spring game against Colorado.
ImpactIt was a day for the two leading candidates for the No. 5 starter job. Drey Jameson started for the Diamondbacks, giving up five runs over three-plus innings, while Nelson threw multiple relief innings. Statistically, Jameson has produced better Cactus League results, but Nelson is trending upward, including a promising stint in a "B" game that doesn't count toward his spring statistics. Others in the hunt for the same role are Tommy Henry and Brandon Pfaadt.

Drey Jameson - Works three-plus inningsJameson allowed five runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four over three-plus innings in Sunday's spring start against the Rockies.
ImpactJameson allowed a pair of home runs in his fourth Cactus League start. The right-hander got off to a good start this spring in his quest to claim the No. 5 starter job, but has been knocked around his last two times out. Jameson allowed eight runs and 11 hits over the last 5.2 innings. His main competition for the job, Ryne Nelson, appeared as a reliever Sunday and faired better (one run, four hits, 2.2 IP).
