Jake Meyers - Notches first career stealMeyers went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Colorado.
ImpactThe 25-year-old hasn't seen much playing time since his ascension to the big-league roster July 30, but he made a spot start in right field to give Kyle Tucker rest Wednesday. In the sixth inning, Meyers got aboard with a single, stole second and scored on a Martin Maldonado sacrifice fly. Meyers is now 2-for-10 with a double, a steal and two runs scored across six games. With a .343/.408/.598 slash line, 16 home runs and 10 stolen bases at Triple-A Sugar Land this year, he appears to have put together a blend of power and speed that he hadn't shown in his first three years of minor-league ball.

Michael Brantley - Scores twice in winBrantley went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Colorado.
ImpactAll three of the outfielder's hits were singles, and he was able to cross the plate in the first and seventh innings. Brantley has posted a trio of three-hit efforts in his last 13 games. He's been highly effective at the plate with a .332 batting average and .865 OPS through 390 plate appearances. The 34-year-old has added seven home runs, 38 RBI, 58 runs scored and a stolen base in 91 games.

Aledmys Díaz - Drives in three WednesdayDiaz went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk and three RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Colorado.
ImpactThe infielder was productive in Wednesday's win, as all three of his hits drove in runs. He's posted multiple hits in three of his last four games, going 8-for-16 with three doubles and six RBI in that span. Diaz lifted his slash line to .298/.348/.485 with six home runs, 32 RBI, 22 runs scored and 14 doubles through 184 plate appearances. He should continue to log regular playing time at third base until Alex Bregman (quadriceps) is able to return, at which point Diaz will likely slip back into a utility role.
AUGUST 12, 2021ROTOWIRE
Framber Valdez - Strikes out eight in winValdez (8-3) allowed a run on four hits and four walks while striking out eight in six innings to earn the win over Colorado on Wednesday.
ImpactThe southpaw continues to walk far too many batters, as he's issued at least two free passes in each of his last eight starts, but he was able to pitch around them Wednesday. Valdez lowered his ERA to 3.09 with a 1.30 WHIP and 81:40 K:BB through 84.1 innings. He'll look to keep up the solid work in Kansas City next week.
AUGUST 12, 2021ROTOWIRE
Antonio Senzatela - Receives little help in lossSenzatela (2-9) allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts over six innings, taking the loss versus Houston on Wednesday.
ImpactThe right-hander continues to yield a lot of hits, as this was his ninth straight start in which he's given up at least seven hits. Senzatela put together a quality start despite the hit total, but he received little help from his Colorado teammates. He owns a 4.71 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 74:23 K:BB across 105 innings this season. Senzatela lines up for an unfavorable home start versus San Diego next week.
