Andrew Heaney - Completes bullpen sessionHeaney (shoulder) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactHeaney landed on the injured list June 24 with left shoulder inflammation and was briefly shut down from throwing, but he's now back on the mound and progressing toward his return. The left-hander will need at least one more bullpen session before advancing to face hitters, which will be the final hurdle before beginning a rehab assignment. Given the timing required for those steps in his rehab program, Heaney shouldn't be expected to return from the injured list prior to the All-Star break, which begins July 17.

Blake Treinen - Throws off moundManager Dave Roberts said Treinen (shoulder) threw 30 pitches off a mound Monday and looked "pretty dang good," Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactRoberts said in late June the veteran right-hander was weeks away from resuming mound work, but the reliever apparently made significant progress over the past 10 days. Treinen still needs significant time to build up his arm to game readiness, so he may not be back until August.

Chris Taylor - Dealing with foot fractureTaylor said Tuesday's CT scan revealed a small fracture in his left foot, and he'll be placed on the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
ImpactTaylor originally suffered the injury Saturday and sat out Sunday before rejoining the lineup Monday, but he exited that contest and is now set to miss some time. The 31-year-old will be eligible to return prior to the start of the All-Star break July 17, but he's more likely to be sidelined for at least the few weeks. Trayce Thompson and Jake Lamb are likely to see upticks in playing time during Taylor's absence.
