ImpactAdames recorded just seven hits over his first 12 appearances of the spring -- which were sandwiched around a WBC stint with the Dominican Republic -- but he picked up three over the final two games he appeared in before the Brewers broke camp. Adames hit second or third in each spring game he appeared in, which all but locks him into a spot in the upper third of the order to begin the season.

ImpactGreiner was released from his minor-league deal with the Twins last week and has found a new organization ahead of Opening Day. He'll begin the year at Triple-A Albuquerque as depth at catcher for Colorado.

Keston Hiura - Clears waivers, stays with MILHiura cleared waivers and was outrighted Tuesday to Triple-A Nashville, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

ImpactHiura was designated for assignment Monday, a few days after being informed that he would not be on the Opening Day roster in Milwaukee. It's rather surprising that he didn't draw waiver-wire interest from other teams as a 26-year-old former top prospect, but that's how far his star has fallen. Hiura also could not elect free agency because this was his first career outright assignment. He'll remain part of the Brewers organization for now at a 2023 salary of $2.2 million.

Jurickson Profar - Visa issues resolvedProfar resolved his visa issues Tuesday and is on his way to join the Rockies in Arizona, Danielle Allentuck of the Denver Gazette reports.

ImpactProfar agreed to a one-year, $7.75 million contract with the Rockies last Sunday and can now finally join up with his new team just before the close of spring camp. It's going to be a quick turnaround, but the 30-year-old could very well be in Colorado's starting lineup for Opening Day on Thursday at San Diego. He doesn't offer a ton of power or speed, but Coors Field tends to elevate those things. It's an ideal landing spot for the former top prospect.

Michael Toglia - Optioned out to Triple-AToglia was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque by the Rockies on Tuesday.

ImpactThe 24-year-old seemed to have a good chance of making the Opening Day roster in Colorado before the Rockies signed Jurickson Profar last week. Toglia posted impressive numbers in the upper minors last season before struggling badly with strikeouts upon his arrival in the majors. He struck out 24 times in 73 at-bats this spring in the Cactus League, though he did also produce a shiny .900 OPS. Toglia is sure to get another extended look in the early part of the 2023 regular season.

Devin Williams - Set for regular seasonWilliams tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Monday's spring game.

ImpactAfter a stellar WBC showing in which he allowed just two runners to reach base over 3.1 innings, Williams rejoined the Brewers and made two appearances over the past four days. He will open the regular season as the Brewers' closer and will attempt to build on a 2022 campaign that he finished with a 1.93 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 96:30 K:BB over 60.2 innings.
