ImpactThe veteran outfielder ended the longest power drought of his career -- his last homer came Aug. 27 of last season -- with an impressive performance that included launching the game-winning blast in the sixth inning off Kyle Freeland. Castellanos has been productive in 2023 prior to breaking out, however, and on the season he's batting .310 (26-for-84) with 10 doubles, 13 RBI and 18 runs in 22 contests.

Craig Kimbrel - Notches second saveKimbrel struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Rockies.

ImpactWith Jose Alvarado having pitched three of the last four days and Gregory Soto having worked the seventh inning Saturday, Kimbrel got the call for the save despite the fact Colorado had two left-handed hitters and a switch hitter due up in the ninth. The veteran righty had little trouble retiring the side, though, needing only eight pitches (seven strikes) to dispatch Harold Castro, Charlie Blackmon and Jurickson Profar. Kimbrel has two saves and three holds in 10 appearances to begin the season and has reeled off six straight scoreless appearances with a 9:1 K:BB in that span, putting him in position to get more ninth-inning opportunities as long as he remains locked in.

Cristopher Sánchez - Early exit against RockiesSanchez didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over Colorado, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out five.

ImpactMaking his first big-league appearance of the season after recovering from a triceps strain, the 26-year-old southpaw was able to last 73 pitches (46 strikes) and exited the game with the score tied 3-3. Sanchez was likely only making a spot start, but it's not clear whether he'll head back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after this outing or whether he'll remain in the Phillies' bullpen as a long relief option.
