Cam Alldred - DFA'd by PittsburghAlldred was designated for assignment by the Pirates on Tuesday.

ImpactAlldred had his contract selected May 11 and delivered a scoreless frame in his MLB debut before being demoted two days later, and he's now been removed from the Pirates' 40-man roster. The 25-year-old has pitched well for Triple-A Indianapolis this season with a 1.33 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB across 20.1 innings.

Daniel Vogelbach - Lands on injured listVogelbach was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained left hamstring, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

ImpactThe 29-year-old started Monday after missing three straight games with an injury to his lower body, and he's now sidelined by a hamstring injury. Vogelbach will be eligible to return June 3, though it's unclear exactly how long he's expected to be sidelined. Michael Chavis is likely to see increased playing time during his absence.

Henry Davis - Should resume activities soonPirates general manager Ben Cherington said Tuesday that he expects Davis (wrist) to resume baseball activities in "days, not weeks," Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

ImpactDavis was diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of his left wrist last week, but the Pirates appear confident that the 22-year-old backstop won't have to miss extensive time on account of the injury. If Cherington's projected timeline for Davis to resume baseball activities proves accurate, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 first-year player draft might be ready to return to game action by early June. Since the injury is to Davis' non-throwing arm, he should be able to quickly settle back in as Double-A Altoona's catcher once activated from the 7-day injured list instead of having to serve as a designated hitter.

Ryan Feltner - Officially starting WednesdayManager Bud Black confirmed that Feltner will be called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to start Wednesday's game in Pittsburgh, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

ImpactColorado will likely wait until Wednesday to officially add Feltner to the 26-man roster while removing another player from the roster in a corresponding move. Feltner previously made a spot start for the Rockies on April 27, when he took a loss in Philadelphia after giving up four earned runs and struck out seven over five innings. His most recent appearance in the minors was a three-inning outing Saturday, so Feltner could face some light restrictions with his workload Wednesday while taking the hill on three days' rest rather than the standard four. Feltner's stay in the Colorado rotation is unlikely to last more than a week or two, as Antonio Senzatela (back) is close to heading out on a rehab assignment and should be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by early June to reclaim his starting role with the big club.
