Trevor Story - No longer in Saturday's lineupStory was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Padres due to soreness from being hit by a pitch Friday, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.
ImpactStory was joined by Brendan Rodgers (illness) in being a late removal from Saturday's game. It doesn't sound like Story we'll miss extended time, but he can currently be considered questionable for Sunday's series finale.

ImpactTrevor Story was also a late removal from the lineup due to soreness from a HBP on Friday. Garrett Hampson and Chris Owings will start at second base and shortstop, respectively. Rodgers can be considered questionable for Sunday's series finale.

ImpactSaturday's simulated game marks a big step for Gomber in his return from forearm tightness. It's not clear how many starts Gomber will require in the minors, but if he is indeed able to make his first rehab start next weekend, he should have a solid chance of rejoining the Rockies' rotation by the end of July. Gomber was pitching exceptionally prior to suffering the injury June 19, allowing just three earned runs across 21 innings dating back to June 3.

José Mujica - Sent back to Triple-AMujica was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.
ImpactMujica was recalled from Triple-A on July 3 but never made an appearance out of the Colorado bullpen. He'll return to Albuquerque for the time being and figures to be a candidate to rejoin the Rockies some time later this season.

Matt Adams - Reinstated SaturdayAdams (elbow) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list prior to Saturday's game against the Padres.
ImpactAdams has been out since early June with a right elbow strain. He was reported to be nearing a rehab assignment, but the club will instead bring him back on the 26-man roster without a trip to the minors. Adams should continue serving primarily as a pinch hitter while also occasionally spelling C.J. Cron at first base.
