Michael Toglia - Homers again in lossToglia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.
ImpactToglia has two homers over his last three games after going seven contests without a long ball following his three-homer game July 14. The 25-year-old continues to be an excellent power source with 18 homers and a .512 slugging percentage over 61 contests this season. He's added 39 RBI, 34 runs scored and four stolen bases, but he's hitting just .215 and striking out at a 32.3 percent rate, which puts a cap on his upside.

ImpactTovar's hitting streak is up to 15 games, with this being his ninth multi-hit effort in that span. During the streak, he's gone 28-for-66 (.424) with five home runs, seven doubles, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored. The shortstop's surge has him up to a .287/.313/.485 slash line for the season, and he's added 17 homers, 50 RBI, 55 runs and 31 doubles across 104 contests.

Austin Gomber - Early exit SundayGomber (2-7) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over 3.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Giants.
ImpactGomber needed 85 pitches (51 strikes) to get his 11 outs. The Giants put up all three runs on his line over the first two innings, and the Rockies were unable to catch up. Over five appearances in July, Gomber allowed 16 runs across 27.1 innings, though he had a respectable 22:3 K:BB in that span. The southpaw is now at a 4.79 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 78:27 K:BB through 109 innings over 20 starts. Gomber's playing on a one-year contract this season, so it's possible the 30-year-old gets traded by Tuesday's deadline.
