Franklin Labour - Surfaces on ILLabour (undisclosed) was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list at Double-A Richmond on Wednesday.
ImpactLabour last played May 8, and there's no information regarding his injury. The outfielder has struggled to hit consistently at the Double-A level, batting .192, but he's added four home runs, 12 RBI, 13 runs scored and a stolen base through 25 contests.

Scott Alexander - Catches on with GiantsAlexander signed a minor-league contract with the Giants on May 3.
ImpactAlexander is likely ticketed for Triple-A Sacramento, but he'll presumably require some ramp-up time at the Giants' extended spring training facility in Arizona after he had been on the open market since electing free agency in November. The 32-year-old southpaw finished the 2021 campaign on the Dodgers' 60-day injured list while he contended with shoulder inflammation, but he's presumably healthy now.

What is wrong with Germán Márquez? Rockies can't wait for his ambitionIn his seventh season, Márquez tried to shoot the moon. It backfired. He is learning that real, progressive change only happens over time.

Luis González - Adds another stealGonzalez went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.
ImpactGonzalez's only trip aboard came in the eighth inning on a walk, and he stole second before scoring on a LaMonte Wade single. Through 10 games in May, Gonzalez is 10-for-30 (.333) with three stolen bases, five RBI and six runs scored. While the Giants' outfield is fairly crowded, he's been in the mix for playing time, and the lefty hitter has even drawn starts against southpaws in two of the last five games.

Brandon Belt - Records first stealBelt went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.
ImpactBelt has now gone 3-for-8 in two games since he returned from neck stiffness. The first baseman also showed off a little speed with his first stolen base of the year. He hasn't attempted more than seven steals in any of the last six years, so he shouldn't be expected to contribute much in that area. The 34-year-old is slashing .253/.387/.467 with four home runs, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored through 92 plate appearances.

Charlie Blackmon - Tallies 13th RBIBlackmon went 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI on Wednesday against the Giants.
ImpactBlackmon drove in Colorado's only run when he grounded into a fielder's choice in the sixth inning. He's in the midst of a cold spell, collecting only six hits across 43 at-bats in his last 11 games. Blackmon is also off to a slow start to the campaign, as he's maintained just a .219/.281/.390 line across 117 plate appearances. Despite that, he's still managed to rack up 13 RBI and 15 runs scored.

ImpactJoe led off the game with a single and proceeded to steal second base. It was his second swipe of the campaign, with his first coming April 10. The performance also extended Joe's hitting streak to seven games, and he's delivered three RBI with two runs scored in that span. Overall, Joe is hitting .291/.371/.470 across 132 plate appearances on the campaign.
