Nearing team debut Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said Dickerson (foot) is on track to return at some point during the team's four-game series with Cleveland that begins Monday, Shi Davidi of Spor... Impact Toronto is expected to hold off on activating Dickerson ahead of the series opener, but the 32-year-old looks to be done with his minor-league rehab assignment, as he was seen taking batting practice in Toronto on Monday, according to Mitch Bannon of SI.com. During his four-game stint at Triple-A Buffalo last week, Dickerson went 4-for-15, and more importantly, incurred no setbacks with the left foot injury he suffered in mid-June. Though Dickerson had served as a near-everyday player for Miami prior to being traded June 29, he'll be relegated to a reserve role in Toronto while all of George Springer, Randal Grichuk, Teoscar Hernandez and Lourdes Gurriel are healthy.
