Impact Knebel was released by the White Sox at the beginning of the month, and he'll now get a chance to carve out a role for himself in the Angels organization. The 32-year-old righty allowed seven earned runs in just two innings with Chicago's High-A affiliate while working his way back from a shoulder injury, though he threw 5.1 scoreless frames upon returning to Triple-A. If he's able to remain effective with his new club, Knebel may be called upon to pitch in the majors for the first time since August 2022.
