Impact Seager homered in a simulated game Saturday but did not play the field. He'll take batting practice Sunday and appear in another simulated game Monday, but it doesn't look as though he'll be out too much longer past that point.

The shortstop beginning to swing again marks a big step forward as he continues to target a mid-July return.
