Impact While the stats might not jump off the page, Dunning was solid in picking up the quality start Tuesday night. His adventure into the seventh inning marked the deepest he's gone into a game this season, but this isn't a philosophy change from Chris Woodward and crew. A pitch count of 75-80 remains a stark reality for the former Florida Gator, as the Rangers still want to be careful with Dunning. The only reason the right-hander made it into the seventh was his incredible efficiency. He finished the night having thrown just 78 pitches. If Dunning is ever unleashed, he could become more of a fantasy factor.
