Steals rare base in win Peralta went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-3 win over the Padres. Impact Peralta notched both of his base hits before the end of the third and came around to score as part of a six-run third inning for the Diamondbacks. He later reached again on a fielder's choice and swiped a bag for just his second steal of the year. The 33-year-old has at least a hit in 16 of his last 19 games and is hitting .375/.407/.518 over that span. For the year, Peralta is slashing .263/.329/.401 with 37 extra-base hits, 52 RBI, 47 runs scored and 38:75 BB:K over 453 plate appearances. The Diamondbacks have an off-day Thursday and are set to face lefty Tyler Anderson when they return Friday, which could send Peralta to the bench given he's sat against southpaws for most of the year.
