Impact The right-hander signed a two-year contract with the Angels in mid-March following a standout 2021 campaign during he notched 21 holds and posted a 2.79 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 74:19 K:BB across 61.1 innings between the Cubs and White Sox. Tepera struggled in his first game with Los Angeles, however, giving up solo home runs to Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez after Shohei Ohtani and three relievers had combined to surrender just one run over the contest's first seven innings. Despite the disappointing Opening Day appearance, Tepera figures to be one of the team's top setup men behind Raisel Iglesias this season.
