ImpactSano tweaked his knee during a game-ending rundown Tuesday against the Tigers, and he'll be out of the lineup for a third straight matchup. The Twins haven't indicated whether the 28-year-old will be available off the bench, but Luis Arraez will start at first base while Nick Gordon enters the lineup in center field.

Cody Stashak - Earns win in reliefStashak (1-0) earned the win, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings and striking out a batter while allowing two hits in a 7-1 win Thursday over Detroit.

ImpactStashak entered the game when Bailey Ober (groin) left with two outs in the fourth inning. The righty has served as a long-relief option for the Twins this season, pitching more than one inning in three of four appearances. While his 4.50 ERA is a bit high, he has good peripheral stats with no walks, seven strikeouts and a 1.00 WHIP through six innings. The 287-year-old has not yet been used in any high leverage situations and it's safe to assume that it's unlikely he will be the recipient of many wins.

Harold Castro - Two hits in lossCastro went 2-for-4 with two singles in a 7-1 loss Thursday in Minnesota.

ImpactCastro singled twice but also made two errors in the field. He made his first start of the season at the hot corner and committed two throwing errors. While the utility man played some third base in previous seasons, he has primarily served as a middle infielder in recent history. With a career .292 average and .323 mark for the season, the Tigers may get creative in finding places for the 28-year-old to play in order to keep his bat in the lineup.
