Tyler Holton - Notches first saveHolton picked up the save in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Pirates, striking out one over one-third of a scoreless inning.
ImpactHolton entered the game with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as the Pirates tried to mount a late comeback, down three with the bases loaded. After getting down to a full count, the lefty then managed to strike out Ke'Bryan Hayes looking on a changeup to slam the door on Pittsburgh and record his first save of the season. It was a nice bounceback effort for Holton after blowing a save in his last appearance and he's now recorded at least one strikeout in four straight outings.

Osvaldo Bido - Allows four runs in lossBido (2-2) took the loss Wednesday, allowing four runs on three hits and one walk over three innings against Detroit while striking out three.
ImpactAfter striking out Zach McKinstry to open the game, Bido served up a hanging changeup to Riley Greene in the next at-bat, which the center fielder crushed over the center field wall to put the Tigers up 1-0. The right-hander would then hold the Pirates scoreless over the next two innings before hitting a wall in the fourth, walking Kerry Carpenter to open the frame and then beaning Matt Vierling in the following at-bat. Bido was tagged for four runs in the contest for only the second time this season while it marked his first loss since June 19.
