Impact With this 13-pitch effort, Clase reached the 40-save plateau for the third time in his career and trails only Ryan Helsley (41) for the MLB lead. It wasn't a clean save though, as the Cleveland closer allowed his second homer of the season -- a leadoff solo shot by Andrew McCutchen -- snapping a streak of nine straight scoreless appearances. Overall, Clase now sports a paltry 0.71 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and K:BB across 63.1 innings this season.
