Stuck behind Heredia on depth chart Inciarte remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Impact Even though top center fielder Guillermo Heredia has gone 2-for-29 over his past eight games, Atlanta doesn't appear to be considering dropping him from the lineup in favor of Inciarte. The 30-year-old still brings value with his glove, but Inciarte's deplorable .592 OPS and career-worst 24.7 percent strikeout rate on the season give Atlanta little reason to open up playing time for him. He hasn't started a game since June 26.

Impact Inciarte is healthy just in time, as Cristian Pache hit the injured list with a hamstring injury of his own in a corresponding move. While Inciarte's temporary starting role keeps him interesting in leagues deep enough that every player with regular at-bats has value, he's unlikely to be a particularly interesting option. He does have a 104 wRC+ in a tiny sample of 20 plate appearances this season, but he hit just .225/.314/.343 with six homers and two steals in 111 games over the previous two years.
