Remains in organization The Orioles outrighted Wall to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact Wall was claimed by the Orioles off waivers last week before being removed from their 40-man roster without having made an appearance for them. He has passed through waivers unclaimed this time around and will remain in Norfolk.

Impact The move makes room on the 40-man roster for right-hander Mike Baumann, who the Marlins claimed off waivers from the Angels on Monday. Wall was claimed by Miami in late July from Atlanta and sent to Triple-A Jacksonville, where he's slashing .292/.382/.333 with six runs scored and four stolen bases across 55 plate appearances. It's the second time Wall has been designated for assignment this season, and the 28-year-old could be claimed off waivers by a team in need of a lefty-handed hitter who plays in the outfield.
