Impact It was the fourth consecutive quality start for Valdez, who limited the Rangers to a Nick Solak RBI groundout in the fourth inning and an Adolis Garcia solo home run in the sixth. The Garcia blast was the first longball allowed by Valdez since July 18, ending a string of six straight outings in which he was able to keep the ball in the park. Valdez will take a 2.94 ERA and 1.27 WHIP into his next start, tentatively scheduled for next week at San Diego.
