Heading to Baltimore Galvis signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Orioles on Tuesday, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact It's a straightforward one-year deal with no options for the 31-year-old, though he'll receive an additional $250,000 if traded. The Orioles shipped off Jose Iglesias earlier this offseason, so Galvis should take over at shortstop for his new team. He appeared in 47 games for Cincinnati in 2020 and had a .220/.308/.404 slash line with seven homers in 159 plate appearances.
