Impact Soto kept the game tied at 1-1 in the ninth inning and silenced Toronto in the 10th to collect the win after Detroit pulled ahead. The southpaw needed a strong bounce-back outing after yielding six runs (five earned) in two-thirds of an inning against the Angels on Tuesday. Impact It was a horrendous outing for Soto, who gave up two home runs and saw his ERA climb from 2.79 to 3.67 in the process. The lefty had only allowed two or more earned runs four times in 50 appearances this season before Tuesday, and the Tigers will hope this is a blip on the radar than a sign of things to come. Soto leads the team with 15 saves and should stick in a prominent bullpen role, but it would be encouraging to see him string together a few clean outings to get back in a positive groove.

Impact Soto allowed a leadoff single and a two-out walk, but the lefty was staked to a somewhat comfortable 5-2 lead and was able to close things out without any damage. The lefty now has a team-high 14 saves in 15 chances this season and should continue to lead the way in the Detroit bullpen. Right-handed options Michael Fulmer and Jose Cisnero should continue to see some save opportunities depending on matchups, but Soto is the best fantasy asset of the bunch right now.
