Adam Scott - Activated from injured listScott (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day minor-league injured list Monday.
ImpactScott had been on the injured list since early May for an unspecified reason, but he made a rehab start Saturday and allowed five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five in 2.2 innings. He made 14 starts for Double-A Akron in 2019 and will report to Double-A now that he's healthy.

Peter Solomon - Optioned to Triple-AThe Astros optioned Solomon to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactThe righty was recalled July 1 and pitched a scoreless inning that day, albeit with two hits and a walk. Solomon has pitched three innings total with the Astros this season, each of which has been scoreless, so he may rejoin the bullpen at some point down the road in 2021.

Garrett Stubbs - Optioned to Triple-AStubbs was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactStubbs started in one game during his most recent stint on the major-league roster, and he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. He'll now head back to the minors since Martin Maldonado (bereavement) will return to the active roster ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Athletics.

Ralph Garza Jr. - Optioned to Triple-AThe Astros optioned Garza to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ImpactThe reliever posted a 3.24 ERA in 8.1 innings after being recalled June 11. Garza had a 10:3 K:BB in those seven appearances. Given his success, it wouldn't be surprising to see the righty back with Houston at some point this season, especially considering the bullpen's struggles of late.
