Mike Trout - Open to moving from center fieldTrout (knee) said Monday that he is open to moving to a corner outfield spot or serving as a designated hitter in 2025, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
ImpactTrout tore the meniscus in his left knee for the second time this season in late July, and he underwent surgery to repair the injury Aug. 9. Trout has progressed through his recovery program to do agility drills, and he revealed Monday that he has been cleared to swing a bat. He expects to have a normal offseason and appears to be considering a position shift in 2025 to reduce the risk of injury to his left knee.
